HOWDY,
I grew up in Vienna.
Not THAT VIENNA.
THE ONE IN SOUTHERN Illinois.
The one with ONE TRAFFIC light and STEADFAST Southern Sensibilities.
Pearl-button Shirts. Old-Timey FOLK music. Church twice a week.
In first grade, I wanted to play for the Chicago Cubs.
In Fourth grade, I WANTED TO HELP SEA turtles in TEXAS.
In college, I met a girl and got a camera to impress her. She was not impressed. So, we married.
After college, I freelanced as A photographer AND COMMERCIAL FILMMAKER.
I worked WITH COMPANIES LIKE Nestlé Purina, Leica, Spotify, Facebook, DDB, University of ILLINOIS, Colorado Tourism and MORE.
After thumbing my way through award annuals and famous agency websites, I couldn’t help but wonder what it took to WRITE.
I got lucky when Luke Sullivan, Rob Schwartz, and Carolyn Hadlock HELPED GET ME STARTED.
I got my first agency job with Rodgers Townsend DDB.
Today, I WRITE FOR Subaru of America at Carmichael Lynch.
I still want to play for the Cubs.
